On Friday, July 18, 2025, Egypt Without Disease Foundation for Healthcare organized a specialized medical convoy in Wadi Houf – Hadayek Helwan, Cairo Governorate, in collaboration with Avon Cosmetics and “Forsa Afdal” (Better Opportunity) Foundation for Community Development. This event was held in celebration of World Skin Health Day.
The convoy aimed to raise health awareness about skin diseases, provide free medical examinations and initial treatments, and strengthen partnerships between civil society organizations and the private sector to support skin health.
During the event, 167 beneficiaries received free dermatological examinations. A public awareness seminar was also held, delivered by a team of doctors, covering topics such as common skin conditions, the effects of weather and pollution on the skin, proper skincare practices, and burn management.
The medical convoy was staffed by a team of 4 dermatologists, 5 pharmacists, and 7 organizing volunteers.
